CryoMagn OPT Print
  • Cryostat with superconducting magnet for optical studies

The cryostat CryoMagn Opt designed specially for optical studies in visible/UV/IR regions with superconducting “split-coil” magnets in Faraday or Voigt geometry has low helium consumption and reliable optical windows. The design of windows suggests that the optical channel is evacuated that prevents the perturbation of optical beam by boiling helium.

The built-in liquid helium level gauge and removable liquid helium transfer line provide the helium level monitoring and filling services.

The highly reliable superconducting solenoid with attachable copper or HTSC current leads is built by multifilament wire based on NbTi or Nb3Sn superconductors. The resistor/diode protection circuit secures the safety use of the superconducting solenoid. As an option,we supply a superconducting switch to maintain the superconducting short-cut regime and the electrical power supply for solenoid.
