|
Thermocool-704 is designed for cooling of various types of radiation detectors. The temperature controlled cooling reduces the electric noise and stabilizes detector parameters. The set consist of thermoelectric cooler TC-704, power supply and temperature controller unit CTC-1. The detector is placed into a chamber inside the copper heat exchanger which is connected to the battery of thermoelectric modules. The electrical ventilators remove the heat induced by thermoelectric modules. The vacuum isolation is used to prevent the external heat flow.
The temperature controller CTC-1 consist of power supply, a changer “voltage/current”, temperature controller unit and digital indicator. The temperature controller stabilizes the detector temperature at a desired set-up temperature. The indicator on the front panel displays set-up temperature, actual temperature and an electrical current value which flows through thermoelectric modules. The sample room of cooler can be adapted to the actual dimensions of detectors.
