The insert is designed for measurements in temperature region 1.4 – 273 K in cryosats with superconducting magnet. The insert is placed in the bore of the magnet so that the sample is in center of the field. The insert has a He4 reservoir at the bottom part. Liquid helium is captured through the capillary from the helium reservoir of the main cryostat. The temperature regulation is based on the controlled helium flow via cappilary through the heat exchanger that is equipped also by a resistive heater. Thr temperature stabilisation within 4.2 – 273 K proceeds with the use of tSTAT310x temperature controller. Liquid helium is evaporated on the heat exchanger and acquires its temperature. The He4 vapor flow rate through the sample room is regulated by needle valve of the manostat. The temperature controller regulates the heater current and the average opening time of the needle valve. This way of temperature stabilization results in low He4 consumption of about 0.1 l/hour. The temperature region 1.4 – 4.2 K is available by the pumping out of the preliminary filled He4 reservoir of the insert. In this case the capillary of the insert is closed by needle valve after the sample room is filled in by liquid helium from the main cryostat helium reservoir. The continuous operation time depends on the temperature which is needed for the experiment.
