- Helium optical cryostat for IR-measurement at 4.5 K
Inside the cryostat body are located the liquid nitrogen and helium reservoirs.
The sample maintained at 4.5 K is placed in vacuum on the cold copper plate that is located at the bottom of the helium reservoir. The sample room is protected against the radiation from the cryostat body by nitrogen and helium cooled copper shields.
The sample is mounted on the copper plate after removing of the bottom part of the cryostat body, nitrogen and helium copper shields.
The windows of the cryostat are replaceable to fit various IR-regions.
