CRYO105_He3

New product

  • Optical combi cryostat in the 0.45 - 1.6 K temperature range
Sample in liquid He3

CRYO105_Не3 is a helium cryostat with He3-insert for optical investigations in the temperature region 0.45 – 1.6 K. The cryostat design is similar to that of the liquid helium optical cryostat optCRYO105. The cylindrical sample room of the CRYO105_Не3 cryostat is used as a He3-insert, whereas the quartz window allows the optical investigations of the samples, placed on the sample holder within the sample room. Inside the cryostat body are located the liquid nitrogen and helium reservoirs. The internal parts of the cryostat are isolated from the body by high vacuum protection. The nitrogen bath cools the copper radiation screen that prevents the helium-4 boiling within the helium reservoir. In addition, the second co-axial radiation screen cooled by liquid helium-4 reservoir protects the He3-insert.

The sample on the sample holder, introduced vertically in the He3-insert, is surrounded by the gaseous helium-3 that is mainly collected in the external He3-receiver. Under out pumping of the helium-4 its temperature drops down to 1.5 K and the helium-3 condense on the copper plates of the He3-insert that are in the thermal contact with the helium-4 reservoir walls. As a result, the liquid helium-3 fills the sample room to a level considerably higher than the quartz window. Under further out pumping of the liquid helium-3 by the high-output coal pump the temperature drops down to 0.45 K for a period more than 15 hours. The sample change is available at room temperature only, when the helium-3 gas fills only the He3-receiver.

optCRYO198
  • Nitrogen continuous flow optical cryostat with external reservoir
Sample in vacuum or gas flow

The optCRYO198 is universal nitrogen continuous flow cryostat with temperature control system and external dewar with N2. Liquid nitrogen continuously flows from a storage dewar into the sample room of the cryostat via gas-generator, forming the vapor flow. The electronuc unit controls the temperature of the N2 vapor and the flow rate.

The system is compact and easy-to use for any kind of optical experiments. The cryostat has two perpendicular optical channels with different spectral bands. In order to change the spectral band the cryostat has to be rotated by 90 degree around its axes.

CryoMagn 0.5-40-8
  • Cryostat with superconducting magnet up to 8 Tesla at 4.2 K

The cryostat CryoMagn 0.5-40-8 with superconducting magnet up to 8 T at 4.2 K is designed for the studies of the superconductivity, the quantum Hall effect, magneto-optics investigations and other applications. The typical features of the cryostat are low consumption of cryogenic liquids, rather small liquid helium and nitrogen reservoirs, and reduced maximum current for solenoid. The built-in liquid helium level gauge and removable liquid helium transfer line provide the helium level monitoring and filling services.

The highly reliable superconducting solenoid with attachable copper or HTSC current leads is built by multifilament wire based on NbTi for maximum field up to 8 T (20 – 40 mm bore). The resistor/diode protection circuit secures the safety use of the superconducting solenoid. As an option, we supply a superconducting switch to maintain the superconducting short-cut regime and the electrical power supply for solenoid.
